Learning in Lincoln
Earlsbrook’s location within the Lincoln township means residents are zoned for Ararira Springs Primary School and Lincoln High School, and with a new primary school confirmed for Earlsbrook Square, families have excellent options close to home. Lincoln University is also just a short distance from the development, offering convenience for both students and staff and further strengthening Lincoln’s role as a centre for learning and opportunity.

New primary school
Lincoln families can look forward to a new chapter in the community with plans for a primary school in the Earlsbrook subdivision officially approved by the Ministry of Education.
Set to be built in the heart of the Earlsbrook Square precinct, the school will provide a much anticipated education option for the growing number of families living in and around the area.
More information on the school’s opening date and enrolment will be shared once confirmed.
Early Childhood Centres
There are currently four different ECE centres to choose from in Lincoln, with more to be built within the Earlsbrook development.

Ararira Springs Primary School
Built recently on a lovely 4-hectare site, Ararira Springs puts children at the core of the learning journey nurturing curiosity, care, and resilience in students. A modern, values-driven school, this full primary school provides education for Years 1-8.
Lincoln High School
Lincoln High is a well regarded, modern, co-educational secondary school catering for students from Years 9-13. Located near the events centre and golf club, it offers a contemporary learning environment set in a rural community with strong links to the local area and Iwi.
Lincoln University
Founded in 1878, Lincoln University is renowned for its expertise in agricultural education and research. Located just a seven-minute walk from Earlsbrook, it attracts students from around the world, with almost half of them pursuing postgraduate studies.
The university offers hands-on learning through its farm and “Live Laboratories” while specialising in areas like commerce, landscape architecture and food science. Committed to sustainability, Lincoln plans to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030 and carbon zero by 2050, reflecting its dedication to future generations.
